Christmas Trees & Conifers for Landscaping

Picture
Christmas trees at Rusty Gate Tree Farm

Visit Rusty Gate Tree Farm for beautiful Christmas trees and conifers for landscaping.  Our family farm has an amazing variety of trees for your Christmas celebrations or to plant in your yard.   Beginning the day after Thanksgiving find the perfect Christmas tree for your home and your family. Bring the whole family for some exercise among the trees!

Take one of our saws out and cut your own tree for a traditional adventure.  For convenience you can select one of our fresh-cut trees or have us cut a tree in the field for you.  See our price list.

We’ll shake the old needles out of your tree and wrap it up with our baler for easy handling at no charge.

You'll love the many different kinds of trees to choose from.  We have a large selection of firs: grand, concolor, balsam, corkbark, fraser, and Nordman.  We also have many Colorado blue spruce: some are blue and some are green.

Other times of the year come see us for the perfect trees for your landscaping project.  You or your landscaper will be pleased with our selection of many types of firs, pines, and spruces.  We’re located one hour from Coeur d’Alene in Kootenai County near Harrison, Idaho.   See detailed directions and a Google Map on the Visit Us tab.

John and Lynette Myhre and sons, Marshall and Graydon, welcome you to Rusty Gate Tree Farm and look forward to meeting you.  John planted the first trees in 1985.  In 2000 we expanded the farm, and those trees are just the right size for Christmas trees now.

Where's the rusty gate?  Our farm is named for our old Labrador retriever, Megan Rusty Gate.  She's no longer with us except in our hearts and memories, but her name lives on.
